- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday integrations, including Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM, Payroll, Finance, and Security frameworks.
- Experience with API development and integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, XML, XSLT, JSON, and middleware tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica).
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or SQL for data manipulation and integration logic.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and other Workday integration technologies.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and business teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions.
- Develop and manage APIs and middleware for Workday, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange with third-party applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations, resolving issues and improving performance.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices for encryption, authentication, and compliance.
- Lead integration projects and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Stay up to date with Workday updates, enhancements, and industry best practices, implementing changes as necessary.
- Document technical solutions, integration workflows, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and support.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and LDAP is a plus.
- Workday Integration Certification is highly preferred.
