Requirements
  • At least seven years of experience in various positions within a water or wastewater treatment environment, with knowledge of operating, maintaining, and repairing water and wastewater treatment plant equipment and pump stations.
  • At least three years of lead or supervisory experience, including understanding of human relations, training, performance evaluation, and health and safety.
  • Experience with pumps, motors, hydraulics, compressed air, electronics including variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers, high-speed rotating equipment, and conveying equipment.
  • Knowledge of current and pending water treatment standards, regulations, and federal, state, and local laws and codes.
  • Understanding of water and wastewater treatment process engineering, water quality assurance, maintenance strategy, and laboratory procedures.
  • Knowledge of budget preparation and cost control.
  • Proficiency in the care and use of site-specific and facility-required personal protective equipment.
  • Proficiency with personal computers, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software for preparing reports, charts, graphs, and data submissions.
  • Ability to use computer systems for preparing work orders and purchase requisitions, including computerized maintenance management system software.
  • Ability to serve rotational 24-hour emergency on-call coverage if required by the site.
  • Ability to work outside in inclement weather, drive a company vehicle, enter confined spaces, use ladders or stairs, and lift or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations, the company’s Code of Business Conduct, and other company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the maintenance function for water and wastewater treatment plants, wastewater pumping stations, STEP systems, and grinder systems.
  • Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance services across plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, installation, carpentry, painting, and vehicle-servicing areas.
  • Develop and manage reliability-centered maintenance strategies and maintenance programs for equipment, instrumentation, and controls.
  • Establish maintenance schedules and ensure that machines, equipment, tooling, and accessories are properly maintained and in top working condition.
  • Assist in diagnosing and evaluating complex equipment and process failures.
  • Ensure that maintenance resources are used to achieve project objectives.
  • Oversee hiring, firing, performance appraisals, coaching, counseling, salary and job-change recommendations, and training coordination for the assigned team.
  • Coach and counsel the team to improve technical, interpersonal, and problem-resolution skills, and provide opportunities to learn new skills and techniques.
  • Implement and run computerized maintenance management system and asset management programs.
  • Prepare work orders, work-related reports, procurement requisitions, charts, graphs, and data submissions.
  • Ensure consistent maintenance and quality assurance procedures and uniform facility-wide recordkeeping.
  • Manage maintenance inventory, procurement, and cost controls; coordinate work with operations staff; assist with capacity management; and negotiate external vendor contracts.
  • Lead safety goals and manage safety and environmental issues to ensure compliance with federal and state standards, including hazardous waste disposal and air quality standards.
  • Oversee capital projects and plant modifications.
  • Participate on the project leadership team to achieve operational efficiency, capacity requirements, and external customer requirements.
  • Fill in or help handle excess maintenance demands when needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Technical or trade school education or licensing in plumbing, welding, electrical work, HVAC, or a related trade.
  • Holding or working toward the highest level of water or wastewater certification and water treatment certification required by the site.
  • HAZWOPER Level I and II certification.
  • Forklift certification and Massachusetts hoisting licenses.

Veolia raises $1.3B in oversubscribed senior bond offering with $3.8B orders

Veolia has completed a €1.15 billion senior bond offering across two tranches. The issuance comprises €650 million with a four-year maturity at a 3.678% coupon and €500 million with an eight-year maturity at a 4.088% coupon. Veolia posts 10.4% net income growth in H1 2026, raises full-year guidance to 8%

Veolia Environnement reported revenue of €22.93 billion for the first half of 2026, up 1.5% at constant scope and foreign exchange, excluding energy prices. The company's EBITDA reached €3.55 billion, rising 5% with margins improving by 70 basis points to 16%. Current net income grew 10.4% at constant scope and forex, whilst net free cash flow improved by €164 million compared to the same period in 2025. The company achieved €195 million in efficiency gains during the period. Veolia completed its acquisition of Cleaners in the United States, which contributed to net financial debt of €24.5 billion. Veolia launches $452M non-dilutive cash-settled convertible bonds due 2032

Veolia Environnement has launched a €400 million offering of non-dilutive cash-settled convertible bonds due January 2032. The bonds will be offered exclusively to qualified institutional investors through an accelerated bookbuilding process. The synthetic convertible bonds offer exposure to Veolia's share performance but will be cash-settled only, without issuing new shares. The bonds will bear an annual interest rate between 0.50% and 0.75%, with a conversion premium of 20% over a reference share price. Concurrently, Veolia will purchase cash-settled call options to hedge its exposure. The company intends to use proceeds for general corporate purposes, including purchasing the options. BNP Paribas and Natixis serve as joint global coordinators, with BofA Securities, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley as joint bookrunners. Veolia plans to list the bonds on Euronext Access within 30 days.

Veolia raises $791M through convertible bond offering to refinance 2021 debt

Enviri spins off New Enviri as standalone public company with $1.2B revenue after Clean Earth sale
