Requirements
  • The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • The candidate must hold current certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • The candidate must hold current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers or an American Heart Association-recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator certification for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Providers.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate effectively, stay organized, pay attention to detail, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • The candidate must be able to perform the stated physical requirements, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds unassisted, transferring and positioning patients, maintaining required vision and hearing, and performing repetitive and fine motor movements.
  • The candidate must be able to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
  • The candidate must be able to work in a latex-safe environment and be physically qualified for respirator use initially and as required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic X-ray examinations.
  • Operate portable X-ray equipment as needed.
  • Inspect and maintain imaging equipment, supplies, and accessories to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and coordinate service repairs when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Monitor and replenish departmental supplies to ensure materials are readily available.
  • Assist with safely lifting, positioning, and transporting patients when needed.
  • Support quality patient care while collaborating with physicians, providers, and fellow healthcare professionals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
Desired Qualifications
  • An Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or Radiography is preferred.
  • Previous radiologic imaging experience is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities are preferred.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment is preferred.
  • A commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and delivering outstanding patient experiences is preferred.
