Clinical practice focused on care of adults, experiencing acute and chronic illnesses with stable or predictable outcomes, throughout the care continuum and across settings (simulation and health care). Number of students per group can vary from 6 to 8. Experience developing learning contracts. Demonstrated conflict resolution, oral/written communication skills.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

Requirements (Faculty)
B.Sc.N. with recent experience in medical/surgical nursing. Current registration as RN in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
Certain clinical partners require work experience on their units in order to work as a Clinical instructor. As a condition of employment at UOttawa, the chosen candidate must be in good standing with the site where clinical teaching is to occur. Requirements of individual hospitals/worksites are available upon request.
Course schedule:
Rotation 1: 16 septembre - 9 octobre, 2026
Rotation 2: 14 octobre - 6 novembre, 2026
Rotation 3: 11 novembre - 4 décembre, 2026

Applicant cannot be teaching the same course during the same semester as they are coordinating.
Previous experience as a clinical instructor preferred.
We will extend the end date on the contract to allow time to complete the on-line students’ evaluation. Participation at team meetings is mandatory (dates to be determined).
