- Evaluate Investigational Use Only instruments according to Instructions for Use and package inserts.
- Learn to operate comparator and screening devices and perform confirmatory tests.
- Upload data files or perform manual data entry as needed.
- Perform quality control at the appropriate frequency and evaluate the results.
- Report shifts or trends to the Laboratory Manager.
- Perform and properly document scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure laboratory equipment remains operational.
- Monitor laboratory supplies, including consumables, reagents, controls, and chemicals, and order supplies as needed.
- Assist the Senior Laboratory Specialist and/or Clinical Research Associate with preparing Quick Guides, Work Instructions, and Study Logs.
- Provide input into clinical study protocols and reports.
- Follow Sysmex policies for safety, environment, and infection control.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- ASCP certification is preferred.
- Recent clinical laboratory hematology experience is a plus.
- Applications experience is a plus.
