Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A state-approved credential or at least one year of experience working with adolescents or young adults in a mental health setting is required.
  • A valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles are required.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • Health screening, tuberculosis clearance, valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, and criminal record clearance are required before employment.
  • Crisis Prevention Institute and cardiopulmonary resuscitation training must be completed within the first 30 days.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Operations Manager with recruitment and hiring efforts for overnight shift candidates.
  • Ensure onboarding, initial training, and ongoing development support for overnight direct care staff.
  • Partner with Human Resources to manage interpersonal and performance issues.
  • Maintain staffing plans and schedules that ensure proper supervision, patient safety, and required staffing ratios across assigned programs during the overnight shift.
  • Process payroll and time-off requests and complete performance evaluations for direct reports.
  • Intervene and provide support during crisis situations.
  • Assist on the floor to fill staffing gaps.
  • Serve as the point of contact for overnight crisis situations involving parents and provide updates to clinical and operations teams.
  • Communicate with daytime Operations Managers to ensure patient-safety protocols are in place overnight.
  • Schedule regular staff meetings and training for overnight direct care staff.
  • Conduct documentation and training audits to ensure timely chart-note completion, accurate recordkeeping, and compliance with required training such as Relias.
  • Attend root-cause analyses and other required meetings.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or associate degree in human services, counseling, psychology, or social work is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a lead, supervisory, or management role is preferred.
