The successful candidate requires at a minimum an active Secret clearance investigation in-process and ability to gain a CompTIA Security + or IAT level II certification by Tuesday January 2nd, 2024, however does NOT require previous professional experience!

Position Details  :

Salary Range:$55,000-$65,000 annual salary. This is a full-time exempt positionWITHbenefits. 

This is an 100% remote work arrangement!

Responsibilities and Duties 

The successful candidate can participate, contribute, and document throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, including:  

• The Junior Software Developer works semi-independently designing and engineering new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
• Designs, codes, tests, debug, and document those programs. 
• Coordinates with Cybersecurity team members to implement and maintain a SSDLC with an understanding of the NIST SP 800-63 RMF and the DoD implementation of RMF.

Education and Certifications: 

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or comparable discipline
• IAT lvl II Certification

Qualifications: 

• This position does not require previous professional experience if the candidate meets education and certification requirements
• Collegiate experience in software design, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Required to be proficient in the following:Apache Tomcat, Oracle RDS, Spring Framework, MSWIN Server 2019, RHEL7.9 ->RHEL8. Oracle Java 1.8, IronBank Containers
• Required to have a working knowledge of, at a minimum, the following tech: Java, SAQL, XML, Maven, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, Freemarker Template, JSON

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for, at minimum, Secret access to classified information.  Strongly prefer applicants with an active SECRET clearance.

Travel: 

This position requires minimal travel, if any.
