FT Longitude is a thought leadership specialist that is fully owned by the Financial Times Group. Our product offering spans three areas: Strategy, a set of services that helps clients to plan and implement effective and differentiated thought leadership campaigns; Research, which encompasses surveys, interview programmes, data modelling and desk research; and Content, which covers multi-format thought leadership campaigns, spanning reports, articles, opinion pieces, visual and interactive content. Role overview
The successful candidate will lead thought leadership campaigns for some of the world’s most influential businesses, across all sectors. You need to be a generalist who can craft a compelling story about almost any business-relevant topic. This may, for example, mean finding new things to say about pioneering technology, the future of the AI-augmented workforce, strategic transformation, and the role of private capital in enabling net zero.
You will be responsible for writing surveys, interviewing opinion-formers, extracting stories from data, and working closely with clients to help shape their thinking. You will work on a wide range of content, including long-form reports, podcasts, opinion pieces, narrative and messaging decks, and related digital and interactive content.
The successful candidate needs to be conscientious, reliable, and supportive of others in the team.

Location
Usually we are based in the FT’s city centre HQ, overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral in London. Option for team members to work in a hybrid environment on a continued basis.
