Refugee Processing Specialists handle case management and family reunification program initiatives within the R&P Pre-Arrival Department at World Relief. The Refugee Processing Specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day case management processes that are required for pre-and post-allocation cases, vetting family reunification applications, and training the World Relief network as the Reception and Placement program regulations change. Refugee Processing Specialists liaise between the World Relief field office network and stakeholders which include but are not limited to the Refugee Processing Center (RPC), Refugee Support Center (RSC), the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) to ensure adherence to R&P guidelines.
Role & Responsibilities

- Manages day-to-day required case management tasks and provides technical assistance for pre/post allocation cases for designated offices.
- Processes family reunification applications and RSC reports.
- Manages assigned RPC case processing reports and adhere to given timeframes.
- Facilitates field office trainings on case management and family reunification processing guidelines.
- Leads and manage organizational external projects as appropriate.
- Attends weekly allocation meetings and strategically places cases as appropriate.
- Responsible for updating staff manuals quarterly.
- Responsible for creating custom data analysis reports as appropriate.
- Attends all required meetings with WR Network and Stakeholders.
- Oversees flight and medical logistics with IOM for the World Relief network.
- Maintains an in-depth working knowledge of WR’s R&P network and USRAP programs.

- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience in related field.
- Refugee resettlement experience strongly preferred.
- Overseas and/or cross-cultural experience.
