  • Proven experience in mechanical design of complex products (preferred turbomachinery or aeroderivative)
  • Good knowledge of fundamental mechanical design concepts, mechanics of materials, design hand calculations
  • Good knowledge of mechanical stack-ups
  • Good knowledge of Advanced CAD Systems
  • Good knowledge of 2D and 3D modelling CAD techniques
  • Basic knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
  • Clear thinking and diligent approach
  • English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oral
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required
  • Availability of working in classified areas and military programs if requested
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop turbine modules and their layout definition
  • Support components and systems design activities for tests vehicles and new technologies introduction
  • Develop new mechanical concepts to power new engine architectures
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications and documentation
  • Perform engineering analysis and calculations to ensure designs meet performance, safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality and testing, to ensure successful project execution
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies
  • Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation and presentation of technical data to the extended team
