Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. social work, nonprofit management) or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of resettlement programs and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Strong communication, public speaking and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Experience working in social services or with vulnerable populations, refugee and/or immigrant
  • Services preferred
  • Self-motivated and able to plan and achieve goals with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, mentoring, and fostering a positive work environment
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Mature and personal Christian faith
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities

  • Cross-cultural experience or previous experience working with immigrants required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing a multi-disciplinary team and cross-cultural dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to design, monitor, and evaluate programs to meet program goals
  • Fluent in Microsoft software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Must be able to pass a background check and MVR check
  • Valid driver's license and reliable access to an insured vehicle required
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations
  • The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-15 pounds
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information

Responsibilities

  • Program Oversight and Monitoring
  • Determine and meet staffing needs to fulfill program objectives and quality service delivery
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable World Relief policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain cohesive working environment among intra-departmental teams
  • Ensure all program components meet both immigrants' needs and organizational goals
  • Responsible for internal monitoring, contract compliance, meeting outcome objections, and communication and coordination of programmatic grant compliance with the World Relief Home Office
  • Collaborate with Community Engagement staff and leadership to develop and maintain strong and effective people support (volunteer and intern) and donation systems
  • Train community partners on WRQC services, in conjunction with other WRQC staff
  • Staff Supervision and Performance Management
  • Provide coaching and supervision to support staff in providing direct case management services
  • Create and lead staff trainings on relevant program topics, creating materials and facilitating training sessions
  • Execute tasks associated with employee lifecycles such as creating job descriptions, hiring, setting performance and professional development goals, conducting annual reviews, and supporting staff through regular direct-report check-ins
  • Identify and implement methods of staff development
  • Promote and develop a high functioning, collaborative team and ensure effective intern and volunteer integration within the case management programs
  • Lead team meetings and attend other meetings as requested
  • Financial Oversight and Compliance
  • In conjunction with WRQC leadership, plan the annual Resettlement and long-term services budgets (PC ICM, REA Groups; ECM; Senior Services)
  • Regularly complete case and program compliance reviews and ensure all compliance measures are met or exceeded including R&P reports (a.k.a. 90-day reports, IRIS submissions, core service delivery), PC & MG semi-annual and annual reports, and proposal narratives
  • Monitor program compliance with grant requirements through strong communication, reporting, and accountability practices
  • Facilitate renewal of yearly grants from state and local agencies and participate in grant proposals and applications
  • Oversee the monitoring of budgets for compliance and allocation adjustments with help from the Finance Director
  • Respond to and complete all pre-monitoring questionnaires, post-monitoring follow-up, and any other compliance-related needs

  • Actively participate in the WRQC Leadership Team in the setting of office-wide policies and procedures, leading organizational initiatives and strategic planning

  • Great lengths of time working on computer, reading from computer screen, entering information, standing at copier or fax machine, and some time on the phone or in virtual meetings may be required
