Required Skills
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field
  • Current Licensed Architect in the US or Professional Engineer in the US or Canada
  • Minimum 10 years of related professional experience in Architecture or Engineering
  • LEED accreditation preferred
  • Experience with a demonstrated focus on quality
  • Strong subject matter expert
  • Ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong business acumen, technical knowledge, coordination skills, and ability to build rapport with the project team and client
  • Familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Procore
  • Manage and monitor integrated quality review processes within the office
  • Meet regularly with the Business Practice Leader and provide project status and risk information
  • Attend Office Practice Integration meetings
  • Coordinate staffing for quality reviews for all disciplines
  • Participate in the development of Project Risk Assessment and project Quality Plans
  • Engage in Quality Leader meetings with the Quality Leadership group
  • Participate in ongoing planning to develop and improve quality resources and initiatives
  • Act as a resource to project teams in decision-making process and provide support in developing design solutions
  • Lead development of office quality plans
  • Participate in the interview process for new technical staff
  • Contribute to integrated Quality/CA and specification development processes
  • Monitor office metrics to ensure project success
  • Strategically engage in project phase quality reviews
  • Establish strategies for capturing and reusing institutional knowledge
  • Write technical articles on quality subjects
  • Evaluate and guide introduction of new building technologies
  • Lead ongoing mentoring and training for quality improvement
  • Meet utilization target
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Some travel may be required
