Handyperson – Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour
Full-time or Part-time Opportunity

At Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour, we’re passionate about creating great guest experiences and supporting our team with a safe, well-maintained environment. We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Handyperson to join our friendly Engineering team.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Perform preventive and general maintenance across guest rooms, bathrooms, public spaces, and outdoor areas.
• Complete painting and surface repairs when required.
• Test and repair room items such as TVs, phones, remote controls, irons, and hair dryers.
• Maintain air-conditioning filters, lighting, wardrobes, beds, lamps, and guest door locking systems.
• Ensure all guest requests are completed promptly and accurately, updating maintenance logs.
• Support upkeep of plant rooms, workshops, and inventory levels.
• Assist the team with ad-hoc duties to ensure our hotel runs smoothly. 

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in general building repairs and maintenance (trade qualifications in carpentry, plumbing, electrical or painting highly regarded).
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and in a small team.
• Great communication and presentation, with a guest-focused approach.
• Understanding of safe work practices and WH&S standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks effectively.
