Electrical Engineer

Salary Range: 45 to 60 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-hour-wage)

Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
• Design and develop power supply systems, including AC/DC, DC/DC converters, and UPS systems, for defense applications.
• Conduct system analysis, load calculations, and power distribution design to ensure reliable performance under operational conditions.
• Testing and Validation:
• Develop and execute test plans to validate electrical systems’ performance and compliance with DoD specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design and performance issues in power systems and related components.
• Technical Documentation:
• Prepare detailed design documentation, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical reports.
• Ensure all designs and documentation adhere to DoD MIL-STD requirements and best practices.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineers, to integrate power systems into larger platforms.
• Interface with stakeholders, including DoD representatives, to define and refine project requirements.
• Compliance and Standards:
• Ensure compliance with applicable DoD regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and standards within the defense sector.
