Requirements
  • A university degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of prior relevant experience is required.
  • Excellent analytical skills are required.
  • Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reports is required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Land and Finance teams with documenting land entitlement and development expenditures and budgets.
  • Prepare feasibility models to support the Land and Finance teams.
  • Lead monthly reviews with the Land and Finance teams to reconcile land balances and development budgets, and ensure that lot cost assumptions are appropriate and documented.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for submission to the Home Office.
  • Prepare soft cost budget analyses covering property taxes, homeowners association funding, and land overhead absorption, along with lot cost calculations.
  • Assist in forecasting cash flows related to land purchase and development expenditures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • An active or inactive Certified Public Accountant license is preferred.
