  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field. Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of general assembly processes and manufacturing best practices.
  • Experience with process optimization and efficiency improvement.
  • Experience with implementing automation in assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Responsibilities
  • Prioritize safety above all to protect our team members, partners, and customers.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing assembly processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement efficient assembly procedures and workflows.
  • Optimize manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability of products.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for assembly line setup and production.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline assembly processes.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for process improvement projects.
  • Work closely with safety teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to meet product specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
  • Document and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Capture and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
