Requirements
  • A degree in a STEM-related discipline and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
  • Prior experience supporting security operations and incident response is required.
  • A strong understanding of cybersecurity operations and incident response processes is required.
  • Information technology certifications such as CySA or Certified Ethical Hacker are required.
  • A security clearance is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and real-life experience in creating innovative solutions within the cybersecurity space.
  • Develop, support, tune, and deploy security solutions.
  • Create web application firewall rules to mitigate threats and implement security best practices.
  • Develop and enhance security information and event management content for cybersecurity teams, including correlations, enrichments, dashboards, reports, and alerts that illustrate and characterize web application attacks and mitigation mechanisms.
  • Develop and implement automations in response to security incidents.
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency with cybersecurity platforms, including security orchestration, automation and response; security information and event management; intrusion detection and prevention systems; data loss prevention; web application firewalls; and endpoint security.
  • Linux administration experience.
  • Cloud infrastructure experience with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
