Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented TS Cleared Hardware and Embedded Systems Reverse Engineers to join our team! In this role you will work directly on an agile, tight knit development team helping to drive client computer network defense (CND) and computer network operations (CNO) missions into the future. You’ll interface directly with CND and CNO experts to design and develop tools and systems. Our teams design and code software components, units, and modules to meet product specifications and development schedules for clients/customers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Reverse engineer embedded systems and develop innovative exploits
- Collaborate with clients to build mission-aligned capabilities
- Explore novel techniques for automating reverse engineering and exploit development
- Create and develop novel security applications for embedded systems
- Quickly isolate areas of interest in large complex systems
- Rapidly prototype new technologies to exploit target systems
- Perform vulnerability research on hardened systems
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Must have a Top Secret or Higher Clearance
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Have at least 3 years of experience relevant to the duties outlined above
- Have knowledge of embedded hardware and software design, development, and testing
- Are skilled with tools including oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies, and logic analyzers
- Have experience soldering, prototyping, and bread boarding
- Are proficient with one or more low-level programming languages
- Understand Unix/Linux operating systems
- Love solving puzzles and have experience persevering through technical challenges
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
- Firmware development experience
- Hardware platform development experience
- RF Expertise
- Experience with Layer 1 and 2 wired and wireless protocols such as USB, SPI/I2C/1-Wire, Ethernet, PCI-Express, 802.11, Bluetooth/ZigBee, others.
- Willingness to lead and manage a team of engineers
- Experience with RVTM, FAT, Acceptance Testing, and other formal testing procedures and documentation
