Requirements
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing complex robotic hardware, with familiarity with humanoid or semi-humanoid kinematics being a strong plus.
  • Expert-level knowledge in computer-aided design software such as SolidWorks or NX, and experience with simulation and finite element analysis tools.
  • Deep understanding of actuators, sensors, and the development of specialized tools such as integrated grippers.
  • Ability to design not just the robot, but the entire functional environment including robotic cells and periphery.
  • Experience in leading R&D projects or small engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of various robotic morphologies, including single-arm, dual-arm, semi-humanoid, and full humanoid systems.
  • Drive the research and development of high-performance hardware components, focusing on function-integrated grippers and advanced end-effectors.
  • Oversee the mechanical design of the entire robot system, including the surrounding periphery and robotic cells for industrial deployment.
  • Apply advanced mechanical engineering principles to ensure durability, precision, and scalability of all hardware products.
  • Bridge the gap between experimental research and product-ready hardware, ensuring new developments are seamlessly integrated into the robot fleet.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners and manage rapid prototyping cycles to iterate on hardware designs.
