Role Summary:
Kargo is looking for a dynamic and passionate researcher to join its Operations team– a strategic, cross-functional group that directly supports multiple functions of the business.
We are looking for a proactive individual with a strong interest in market research who is eager to make an impact. This position requires an analytical mind and strict attention to detail. Successful candidates will possess strong intellectual curiosity, and a passion for helping others.
The Research Coordinator will work closely with the Client Services, Media Strategy, Campaign Management, and the Sales Teams. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between research vendors and Kargo, while ensuring the feasibility for execution of sold campaigns. This position will be based in our New York office.
What You’ll Do:
- Foster and maintain relationships with industry research vendors, assessing campaign feasibility and ensuring optimal activations.
- Spearhead pre-sales feasibility studies, guiding the Sales and Client Services teams in campaign ideation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product to ensure the success of Kargo
- Monitor campaign impressions, ensuring alignment with research findings and client expectations.
- Serve as an internal research authority, highlighting emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and market opportunities.
- Establish processes and work closely with internal operations teams.
- Identify, investigate, and evaluate new media measurement models, data sources, and research partners
Who You Are:
- 1+ year of experience in research, analytics or measurement role
- Direct experience with research services like comScore, Nielsen, Upwave, Dynata, Kantar, Foursquare, IRI, Samba, eMarketer etc. a plus
- Knowledge of Google Ad Manager and technical campaign setup a plus
- Strategic thinker with ability to formulate innovative solutions to complex problems and keep ahead of industry trends
- Experience supporting advertising agencies and sales/business development teams with consumer insight initiatives
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable ability to motivate high performing teams
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Excel expert user and ability to extract and manipulate data with a high degree of accuracy
