Requirements
  • A degree, certification, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, business, English, journalism, or a related field.
  • Zero to three or more years of professional experience.
  • Foundational writing and editing abilities.
  • The ability to learn Adobe InDesign.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint.
  • Availability for occasional event support during nonbusiness hours, such as community events.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to work in person at the Fort Myers office; a hybrid work arrangement may be possible after training and positive performance.
  • The ability to travel between offices for related tasks on occasion.
  • A valid driver's license, safe driving history, and reliable transportation.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this position now or in the future.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Marketing team with the proposal process, including information gathering, resume creation, document layout, proposal submission, and interview presentations.
  • Monitor websites for new project opportunities.
  • Support special events and trade shows.
  • Develop layout and graphic design skills using Adobe software, with an emphasis on InDesign, and Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Perform tasks to ensure the quality of marketing materials, including proofreading, aesthetics, and compliance reviews.
  • Update the customer relationship management system.
  • Travel between Apex offices and to client locations to deliver proposals as needed.
  • Fulfill other administrative tasks as needed.
