Requirements
- RN license must be current and in good standing
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Immunizations current TB, MMR, Tetanus, Varicella, etc.
- At least one year of experience
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care in the Labor and Delivery unit working as part of the healthcare team, collaborating with physicians and other nurses to assess mother and baby during the perinatal period to develop a specific care plan.
- Perform nursing duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and facility policies and procedures.
- Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other healthcare professionals for all Labor and Delivery patients.
