IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company with products used by 15 million students worldwide, is seeking a highly motivated Recruiting Specialist to help us screen and qualify inbound candidates for our engineering and product teams. As a Recruiting Specialist at IXL, you will work side by side with the recruiters, hiring managers, and peers within IXL to help ensure that we hire the best individuals to work toward our mission.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Review inbound applicant resumes submitted to IXL’s posted positions 
• Evaluate resumes, cover letters and other application documents daily to identify the strongest candidates based on defined criteria
• Conduct initial candidate phone screens verifying candidates meet minimum position requirements
• Handoff qualified candidates to the appropriate recruiter to begin the formal interviewing process
• Partner with recruiters, hiring managers and team members to share information that ensures an effective screening process
• Maintain a seamless and efficient candidate experience that results in a positive impression of IXL Learning, regardless of the outcome

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1-2 years of experience as a recruiter or recruiting screener
• Experience with evaluating resumes, cover letters and other application documents
• Experience in conducting qualifying phone screens for job applicants
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with Greenhouse or other ATS, Google Suite
• Passionate about education and technology

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $67,000 to $75,000 + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
