Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on subscription models, billing systems, and/or membership retention.
  • Strong data analysis skills with experience using analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Looker, Heap) to assess performance and inform decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of member pain points with an ability to craft compelling value propositions to improve retention, winback, and upsell by addressing core member needs.
  • Familiarity with subscription billing platforms (e.g., Stripe, Recurly, Zuora) and knowledge of payment processing workflows.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a proven track record of identifying and addressing root causes of churn or billing friction.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Thrives working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Foundational understanding of APIs, payment gateway integrations, and subscription management software.
Responsibilities
  • Define CLEAR’s monetization product strategy and roadmap, focusing on improving member loyalty and reducing churn.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Member Care, Security, and Legal to drive a shared vision and accelerate product development.
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback to identify pain points and opportunities to improve the self-service account management experience.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to optimize the user journey and validate monetization hypotheses.
  • Define and measure key monetization metrics such as churn rate, lifetime value (LTV), and average revenue per user (ARPU) to evaluate the effectiveness of retention efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform product development.
