Requirements
  • A degree in an engineering discipline, including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Systems Engineering, Materials Science, Instrumentation and Controls, Civil or Structural Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • A solid working knowledge of engineering first principles.
  • Proficiency in writing and communication, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • The ability to communicate and work closely with senior engineers and clients to solve problems.
  • An interest in working at client locations or other sites as projects require.
  • An excellent academic record.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work outside a single engineering discipline and quickly learn new concepts.
  • The ability to follow through on tasks and assignments in a timely manner.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to lead, communicate, and exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
  • Apply insight, management skills, advanced technology, physical system modeling, and data analytics to improve facility or equipment operations, maintenance, reliability, or performance.
  • Apply technical and project or risk management skills to deploy new technology and major capital projects.
  • Specify, design, procure, and test novel power, process-industry, or medical-device systems or components.
  • Work on multiple project teams and solve technical problems while developing and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Travel to client sites, test facilities, or supplier facilities as project requirements dictate.

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C++ or Python.
  • Familiarity with analysis programs such as Ansys or MATLAB-Simulink.
  • Familiarity with design programs such as SolidWorks.
