  • Experience in the administration and development of Nerdio Manager
  • Excellent PowerShell and SH/BASH Shell scripting skills

Responsibilities
  • Business & Cloud Enablement: Partners with business leaders and technology teams to determine how Microsoft 365 and cloud services best support client and business needs, contributing to the design and implementation of solutions hosted on the bank’s cloud infrastructure.
  • Modern Workplace & Cloud Engineering: Design, implement, and support Modern Workplace solutions built on Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms, including SharePoint, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Intune, Purview, Viva Suite, and Microsoft Copilot.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of secure, scalable cloud services that align with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the lifecycle management, governance, and optimisation of collaboration and productivity platforms.
  • Automation & Engineering Enablement: Develop, maintain, and refine automation scripts and processes to support cloud deployments, configuration management, and ongoing operations.
  • Perform testing and validation of cloud services, platform updates, and upgrades prior to production rollout.
  • Reuse of frameworks to improve delivery consistency and cost effectiveness
  • Security, Compliance & Identity: Partner closely with Identity & Access Management (IAM) and security teams to ensure appropriate security controls, access governance, and compliance across cloud environments.
  • Assist in monitoring and assessing security posture for users, groups, third‑party access, and cloud services.
  • Document design, security controls, and operational standards to support audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder & Project Collaboration: Liaise with business stakeholders and internal technology teams to determine how Modern Workplace services can best support business objectives.
  • Contribute to project planning and delivery for initiatives involving Microsoft 365 and related cloud platforms.
  • Provide technical input, operational guidance, and subject matter expertise across multiple initiatives.
  • Leads and contributes to projects involving Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Intune, and related cloud platforms, including testing and validation of server and software upgrades.
  • Operational Support & Continuous Improvement: Assist with advanced support and troubleshooting for Modern Workplace tools and services.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, platform optimisation, and service maturity.
  • Support departmental goals and business plan deliverables through high-quality engineering outcomes.
  • Platform Documentation & Operational Support: Documents the design, maintenance, and security controls of cloud‑based solutions, while providing advanced support for Microsoft 365 applications and tools.
  • Change Management & Release Execution: Executes platform changes in alignment with bank change‑management standards, including testing, prototyping, contingency planning, and controlled deployment.

EQB appoints Daniel Rethazy as EVP to lead Personal Banking expansion and PC Financial integration

EQB Inc. has appointed Daniel Rethazy as Executive Vice President, Personal Banking, effective 6 April 2026. Rethazy will oversee a unified Personal Banking business integrating residential lending, deposits and the EQ Bank digital platform. Subject to regulatory approval, he will also manage products and channels from EQB's announced acquisition of PC Financial, including the long-term strategic relationship with Loblaw Companies for EQ Bank to become the exclusive banking partner for the PC Optimum programme. EQB posts Q1 adjusted diluted EPS of $2.26, up 48% q/q as efficiency ratio improves to 49.1%

EQB Inc reported first quarter 2026 results with adjusted diluted earnings per share of $2.26, up 48% quarter-over-quarter but down 24% year-over-year. Adjusted net income reached $85.2 million, whilst adjusted return on equity improved to 11.1%. The Canadian digital bank's efficiency ratio improved to 49.1% from 53.6% in the previous quarter, reflecting cost benefits from a strategic restructuring programme. Commercial lending loans under management grew 3% quarter-over-quarter and 19% year-over-year. EQ Bank added 26,000 new customers in the quarter, bringing total customers to 633,000. The company declared a dividend of $0.59 per share, up 16% year-over-year. EQB is progressing with its planned acquisition of PC Financial, having filed regulatory applications in January 2026. The company maintained a CET1 capital ratio of 13.6%.
