Requirements
  • 5+ years of people operations experience or HR generalist experience, with notable expertise in HR systems (prior experience with our HR stack tools ~ Paylocity, Lever, Lattice is preferred), compensation and benefits, and HR compliance
  • Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to managing projects and implementing processes
  • Strong project management experience with attention to detail and consistent follow-through
  • Demonstrated experience delivering results while working in a fast paced, dynamic environment while
  • Excellent communication skills; able to distill complex topics into a format that stakeholders can clearly understand; Experience working directly with C-Suite executives and comfortable communicating with different stakeholders
  • Prior experience managing the work of others and/or other relevant coaching, and/or leadership experience
  • Demonstrates good judgment in ambiguous or unclear situations
  • Leads with compassion and exhibits strong ethics

Responsibilities
  • Drive and/or support the design and operationalization of company-wide people initiatives such as performance reviews, manager and employee development, and help establish best practices that create a high-impact and engaged employee culture
  • Drive strategy and implementation of all HR systems (such as Paylocity Lever, and Lattice) and utilization of these tools to optimize functionality, reduce friction, and scale people processes within Big Health
  • Own the delivery, documentation, and effectiveness of core HR operations and processes, systems of record, and communication protocols with other functions such as Finance, Payroll, and Legal
  • Lead the generation of data metrics across the employee lifecycle, create a plan for tracking, reporting, and analyzing trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Manage annual compensation benchmarking and establish compensation bands. Support the development of a robust compensation and total rewards strategy that rewards high performance, attracts industry-leading talent, and ensures equitable compensation practices and inclusive benefits for all employees
  • Directly oversee and manage annual open enrollment and benefits audits. Partner with benefits broker on renewal negotiations, plan changes, compliance requirements
  • Ensure global compliance through regular monitoring and research of HR trends and regulations across the US and UK and advising management on necessary actions
  • Manage and develop a team of HR operation generalists/specialists
  • Represent the People Department in the communication of philosophies, processes, policies, and capabilities across the organization
