Requirements
  • Have, or will you have obtained a Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering or engineering technology by the end of August 2022
  • 1 or more years of experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems
  • General knowledge of structural analysis techniques for static strength or fatigue capability
  • General knowledge of 3D drafting software and its use in structural design or analysis (CATIA, AutoCAD, ProE, etc.)

Responsibilities
  • Partner with a senior analyst to perform complex analysis (e.g., stress, static and dynamic loading, thermal factors, vibration, etc) of tool and equipment designs
  • Writes specifications and process documentation and develops stress templates and guidebooks for use by general tooling community
  • Candidate should be familiar with at least one of the following: structural analysis (FEM and classic hand analysis methods), welding, building codes, below-the-hook lifting devices, mechanical systems (including pneumatic and hydraulic), or composites/advanced materials
Desired Qualifications
  • 1 or more years of experience reading engineering drawings
  • 1 or more years of data analysis experience
  • Experience working with Composites
  • Ability to learn in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate with both the engineering work force and the mechanics on the factory floor
