  • Experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, asyncio, or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience with API-first development and microservices.
  • Solid foundations in software development and real exposure to generative artificial intelligence topics.
  • Experience with RAG architectures, including vector search, hybrid search, embeddings, and document indexing.
  • Experience with vector databases or search engines such as Azure AI Search, Elasticsearch, Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus, or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or CrewAI, or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience integrating large language models such as Mistral, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Claude, Bedrock, or internal models.
  • Experience with multi-model orchestration, prompt management, fallback mechanisms, agents, and tool calls.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or a containerized cloud environment.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery, including GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Langfuse, or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience with databases and storage technologies such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or document storage, or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and evaluation of AI responses.
  • Three to six years of experience in software development is ideal, including significant initial experience on an artificial intelligence, data, natural language processing, RAG, chatbot, conversational assistant, or generative artificial intelligence project.
  • A candidate with only two years of experience may be considered if technically strong, autonomous, curious, and already exposed to concrete artificial intelligence topics.
  • A Bac+5 education in computer science, data, artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, engineering school, or an equivalent university program.
  • Ability to code, industrialize, document, discuss client needs, understand business requirements, and explain what is feasible.
  • Ability to communicate, ask relevant questions, identify risks, and work in a large-enterprise environment.
  • Ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Technical rigor, autonomy, teamwork, written and oral communication, documentation culture, critical thinking about model-generated responses, client-service orientation, and ability to work in a structured project environment.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop RAG pipelines, including document ingestion, chunking, vectorization, embeddings, indexing, and corpus updates.
  • Integrate large language models into robust application architectures.
  • Develop conversational assistants and AI agents capable of orchestrating multi-step business tasks.
  • Work on document use cases, including optical character recognition, document transformation, information extraction, augmented search, corpus summarization, and corpus analysis.
  • Design APIs and microservices that expose AI capabilities to business applications.
  • Contribute to technical feasibility studies based on business needs by assessing what is realistic, identifying constraints, and proposing an implementation path.
  • Participate in solution industrialization through testing, continuous integration and delivery, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Implement AI observability mechanisms for prompt tracking, response quality, latency, costs, errors, hallucinations, logs, and execution traces.
  • Contribute to LLMOps best practices, including prompt versioning, evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, model management, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate with business and technical teams to explain AI solution choices, limitations, and trade-offs.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily meetings, refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with large-scale document pipelines.
  • Experience with optical character recognition, data extraction, or document analysis.
  • Initial experience with AI agents or multi-step workflows.
  • Knowledge of LLMOps topics.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of security, the General Data Protection Regulation, the Artificial Intelligence Act, and data governance.
  • Experience in banking, finance, insurance, the public sector, or another highly regulated environment.

ASI is a digital services and consulting firm that helps organizations transition to digital by designing and developing custom software solutions. It combines IT consulting on data intelligence and collaborative tools with technical development to deliver end-to-end support for large companies, especially in banking and insurance. Its offerings are delivered through a “360-degree” approach that blends strategic consulting with hands-on technical work, enabling projects from needs assessment to implementation. What sets ASI apart is its employee-owned structure (a majority stake held by managers and employees) and its continuity-focused culture, sustained through a management buyout and later capital restructuring, which preserves the company’s values while supporting growth. The company’s goal is to help clients navigate digital transformation by providing integrated, long-term IT and software solutions that align with their business needs and corporate environments.
