  • B.S. in Aerospace, Systems or Mechanical Engineering (or other related technical subject area).
  • 1-3 years experience applying aerospace systems engineering processes – design reviews, requirements validation and verification, failure and risk assessments.
  • Demonstrated organization skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity in all its forms as well as contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
  • Ability to earn trust and maintain positive and professional relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Support the leads of all major programs in defining, validating, and maintaining requirements.
  • Build system-level qualification plans for Solid Rocket Motors (SRMs).
  • Track requirement verification status through product development and qualification.
  • Review test and analysis plans and reports to assist with confirmation that requirements are met.
  • Develop Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Age-Sensitive Items Analysis (ASIA) and other system documents for SRM programs.
  • Support system-level risk analysis and mitigation; own and carry to closure all system-level risks.
  • Develop Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models of SRM systems.
  • Communicate with management and customers on requirement compliance at program reviews.
  • Create and manage system engineering tools and processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Systems Engineering associates to advance their proficiency.
