Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas or a related field is preferred.
  • One year in a vocational or technical training program is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass the Work Steps physical, including the ability to lift 125 pounds.
  • Basic problem-solving and organizational skills are required.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal and written English communication skills are required.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Must have a safe driving record and be willing and able to pass a pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle record check, and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
  • Steam and clean fishing and rental tools.
  • Set up, program, operate, and prepare assigned equipment; perform full operational checks and make necessary adjustments.
  • Rebuild equipment using the standard rebuild process.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot equipment failures to determine necessary corrective action.
  • Fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for products such as industrial machines, equipment, and measuring instruments.
  • Operate drill presses, grinders, engine lathes, and other machines to modify tested parts or fabricate parts.
  • Inspect assembly parts and report defective materials or questionable component conditions to management.
  • Read dials and meters to determine amperage, voltage, and electrical output and input at specific operating temperatures to analyze part performance.
  • Fabricate special fixtures needed to complete tasks.
  • Weld, cut, paint, and grind various raw building materials as required.
  • Assist with special projects and cover multiple positions when staffing levels are low or production and operating demands increase.
  • Observe and follow all company safety rules and policies.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
