Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of progressive networking experience, including at least 4 years focused on hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.
  • Deep expertise in Cisco technologies, including routing and switching, software-defined wide area networking, application-centric infrastructure, security, and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and their native networking services.
  • Knowledge of hybrid connectivity technologies including Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Interconnect, VPN, and software-defined wide area networking.
  • Knowledge of network security, including firewalls, micro-segmentation, zero-trust security, and secure access service edge.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking fundamentals including virtual private clouds, peering, transit, load balancing, and DNS.
  • A proven track record of delivering large-scale networking projects in regulated or enterprise environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Must be able to obtain Public Trust.
Responsibilities
  • Architect and lead hybrid cloud networking strategies connecting on-premises data centers, Cisco infrastructure, and multiple public clouds.
  • Design and implement Cisco-based solutions, including Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, Meraki, Nexus, Catalyst, and Firepower, integrated with AWS Transit Gateway, Azure Virtual WAN, and Google Cloud VPC.
  • Develop and manage multi-cloud networking architectures focused on secure interconnectivity, traffic optimization, load balancing, and zero-trust security models.
  • Lead migrations from legacy networks to hybrid and multi-cloud environments while minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams to define network requirements, performance service-level agreements, and cost-optimization strategies.
  • Implement networking automation, monitoring, and disaster recovery using Terraform, Ansible, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ThousandEyes, and cloud-native tools.
  • Ensure compliance with NIST, CIS, SOC 2, and other regulatory requirements across hybrid environments.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to engineering teams.
  • Evaluate new technologies and vendors to improve the hybrid networking ecosystem.
Desired Qualifications
  • CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent Cisco certification.
  • Active Cisco certifications such as CCIE Enterprise/Infrastructure and DevNet.
  • Multi-cloud certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer, and Google Cloud Professional Network Engineer.
  • Experience with cloud-to-cloud interconnects and network encryption.
  • Familiarity with Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, and Zscaler Cloud Connector.
  • Familiarity with WAF solutions such as Akamai Kona, Cloudflare, and AWS WAF.
  • Familiarity with Partner Connect solutions such as Equinix Fabric.
  • Familiarity with MPLS and SD-WAN configurations.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN and managed network service providers such as Verizon and AT&T.
