We are seeking an experienced Hybrid Cloud Networking Architect to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable networking solutions across on-premises, Cisco-powered, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). This role is critical in enabling seamless hybrid connectivity, ensuring high performance, security, and compliance for enterprise workloads.The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with government stakeholders, security teams, and engineering personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and leadhybrid cloud networking strategies, including connectivity between on-premises data centers, Cisco infrastructure, and multiple public clouds. 

• Design and implementCisco-based solutions(Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, Meraki, Nexus, Catalyst, Firepower, etc.) integrated with cloud-native networking services (AWS Transit Gateway, Azure Virtual WAN, Google Cloud VPC, etc.). 

• Develop and managemulti-cloud networking architectureswithfocuson secure interconnectivity, traffic optimization, load balancing, and zero-trust security models. 

• Lead migration projects from legacy networks to hybrid/multi-cloud environments while minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity. 

• Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams to define network requirements, performance SLAs, and cost optimization strategies. 

• Implement advanced networking features such as automation (Terraform, Ansible, Cisco DNA Center), monitoring (CiscoThousandEyes, cloud-native tools), and disaster recovery. 

• Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, SOC2) and regulatory requirements across hybrid environments. 

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to engineering teams. 

• Evaluatenew technologiesand vendors to continuously improve the hybrid networking ecosystem. 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s orMaster’s degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 8+ yearsof progressive experience in networking, with at least4+ yearsfocused onhybrid/multi-cloud architectures.

• Deepexpertisein Cisco technologies(CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred) — including routing/switching, SD-WAN, ACI, security, and automation.

• Hands-on experience with multi-cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)and their native networking services.

• Strong knowledge of:

• • Hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Interconnect, VPN, SD-WAN).

• • Network security (firewalls, micro-segmentation, zero-trust, SASE).

• • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Python).

• Cloud networking fundamentals (VPCs, peering, transit, load balancing, DNS).

• Proventrack recorddelivering large-scale networking projects in regulated or enterprise environments.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Must be able to obtain Public Trust

Preferred Qualifications

• ActiveCisco certifications(CCIE Enterprise/Infrastructure, DevNet, etc.).

• Multi-cloud certifications (AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Network Engineer).

• Experience with Cloud-to-Cloud interconnects and network encryption.

• Familiarity/experience with Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler Cloud Connector) and WAF Solutions like Akamai Kona, Cloudflare, AWS WAF

• Familiarity with Partner Connect solutions like Equinix Fabric and something about MPLS/SD WAN configurations

• Familiarity with SD-WAN and managed network service providers like Verizon, AT&Tetc.
