Position Description
Provide technical, educational and sales support to assist the district in meeting assigned Coronary Renal Denervation (CRDN) sales and customer service objectives. CRDN seeks collaborative candidates who are patient-centric, passionate, and who represent the same wide variety of life experiences as our patients. In this clinical specialist role, you will have additional responsibility providing support for CathWorks. To be considered, the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology and be able to educate physicians on a new product. This position will be the customer’s first line contact for the CRDN daily operations at assigned accounts.
**This position is a field-based and regional role. Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time within assigned territory(ies).**

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Support and strategy for CRDN business units.
- Support the regional CRDN sales strategy as set forth by the Area Sales Director; working with sales representatives and managers of all business units to achieve business plans.
- The DM and Area Sales Director may include primary responsibility for sales if no other sales representative is assigned to the business unit.
- Develop and maintain therapeutic and device operation knowledge; apply this knowledge to the development of well-written, clear, and concise reports
- Develop search strategies to identify and obtain existing, relevant data (internal or external)
- Work with librarian(s) and other data retrieval specialists to develop literature or data search strategies and protocols & review, appraise, and analyze literature search results
- Address deficiencies and or answer questions from regulatory agencies as needed
- Create and manage project schedule for each document/ identify task to be assigned to other colleagues. Manage multiple, varying sized projects concurrently.
- Work in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to determine appropriate clinical evaluation strategy; may provide input to clinical trial design
- Identify potential evidence gaps or risks to existing data and work with stakeholders to assess options, track, and communicate risks as needed
- Stay current on clinical evidence landscape and provide guidance to teams on sufficient data
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of clinical evaluation best practices and regulatory agencies’ guidelines on clinical evaluation requirements
- May lead the development of policies, procedures, and/or process improvement initiatives for the group or clinical department
- Interface with regulators and may lead discussions and develop strategies with cross functional stakeholders to negotiate and influence regulatory reviewers on the clinical evaluation
- Performs other related duties as assigned
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma and a minimum 8 years of work experience in healthcare, field sales or work experience utilizing complex mathematics, mechanical concepts, science, or computing - OR-
- Associate degree and a minimum 6 years of work experience in the healthcare, field sales or work experience utilizing complex mathematics, mechanical concepts, science, or computing - OR-
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant industry, healthcare, industry, marketing, or medical education experience considered where there is specific focus on awareness and education or medical project management.
- Knowledge of angiograms and anatomy of the heart
- Previous experience as a Cardiac Rhythm Management Clinical Specialist
- Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint and system tracking.
- Strong project management skills and experience coordinating and executing marketing programs.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic
- Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures, and the medical device industry.
- Excellent customer service skills and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to effectively build and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organizational levels.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$75,000.00 - $90,000.00In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
