OHCA purchases health care using state and federal funds, focusing on making health care accessible and improving health outcomes for low-income individuals, families, and vulnerable populations. The agency's approach includes analyzing strategies to enhance quality and accessibility, as well as forming partnerships to better serve Oklahomans. Unlike private health care providers, OHCA operates within the public sector, emphasizing fiscal responsibility and the effective use of funds to meet health care needs.
