Moultrie's EDGE 3 series now available in First Lite Specter camo.

Moultrie's EDGE 3 series now available in First Lite Specter camo. BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - May 26, 2026 - Moultrie, the leading innovator of feeders, trail cameras and game management tools, announces the EDGE 3 series is now available in First Lite Specter camouflage. Designed to blend in any environment throughout the whitetail range. The EDGE 3 and EDGE 3 PRO in First Lite Specter are built to locate, pattern and help harvest more deer. These cameras work where you hunt by automatically finding the strongest cell signal from the major U.S. carriers. All videos and images are delivered directly to the Moultrie app, where a suite of powerful hunt planning tools automatically builds a hit list, tracks target bucks and delivers a game plan of when and where to harvest. "Checking my Moultrie camera feed is the best part of waking up," says Steve Rinella of MeatEater. "Before I even get a cup of coffee, I'm seeing what animals passed in front of my cameras overnight. My kids love checking, too. Moultrie takes wildlife viewing to a whole new level." * Moultrie AI automatically detects when a buck steps into frame and switches from photos to HD video and uploads it immediately. No more flipping through hundreds of does to find the one frame you actually care about. * On-Demand photo and video let you pull images or video anytime, from anywhere, without a trip to the property. Combined with built-in memory (no SD card required), Live Aim for fast, accurate positioning and automatic GPS location pinning in the Moultrie app, these cameras are designed to minimize your boots-on-the-ground time and maximize your hunting intel. * Running feeders? The EDGE 3 series features Moultrie Connect, which links your camera to Moultrie feeders via Bluetooth. This gives you the capability to monitor and control your feeder remotely from the same app (no additional subscription required). The EDGE 3 First Lite delivers 40MP images, 1080p video, a 100-foot detection range and a 0.4-second trigger speed. The EDGE 3 PRO raises the bar with 50MP images, 1440 QHD video, No Glow flash and a 0.3-second trigger. The EDGE 3 PRO also includes the Easy Aim Mount included in the box for faster, more precise hanging. For hunters covering remote ground or who don't want to disturb the area by replacing AA batteries, the EDGE 3 First Lite + 3.4W Solar Power Pack kit keeps the camera powered without maintenance trips. The solar pack replenishes the internal lithium battery daily, so the intel never stops. For those running multiple locations, the EDGE 3 First Lite is also available as a 2-Pack. As part of Moultrie's partnership with onX Hunt, cameras in the EDGE 3 First Lite series integrate directly with the onX Hunt app. Purchasing any camera in this lineup includes a free three-month onX Hunt Elite subscription for new customers. onX and Toyota expand Trail Revival Project to 24 nationwide trail restoration events.

onX and Toyota expand Trail Revival Project to 24 nationwide trail restoration events. March 26, 2026. Community-led trail restoration efforts grow across the U.S. as outdoor recreation surges and volunteer trail groups decline. MISSOULA, Mont. - March 26, 2026 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ - onX, the industry pioneer in digital navigation technology, is partnering with Toyota for a second year to expand the Trail Revival Project, a nationwide stewardship initiative dedicated to protecting and restoring access to public land trails. In 2026, the Trail Revival Project will support 24 trail restoration and cleanup projects across the United States, bringing together off-road clubs, volunteers, and land managers to maintain and reopen trails threatened by erosion, storm damage, overgrowth, and illegal dumping. The effort comes at a critical moment for public lands as outdoor recreation continues to surge. Many off-road trail clubs - longstanding operational partners to land managers responsible for clearing, maintaining, and restoring trails - are facing declining participation. Despite contributing more than 2.6 million hours of service annually (work equivalent to over 1,700 full-time employees) these groups are seeing reduced engagement, while land management agencies contend with limited staffing and funding. As a result, many trails go without consistent maintenance, leaving them increasingly vulnerable to erosion, overgrowth, and closure. Toyota returns this year as onX's key partner, providing funding, vehicles, and logistical support to help power trail restoration efforts nationwide. In its first year, the onX and Toyota Trail Revival Project initiative mobilized 400+ volunteers across 14 projects in 13 states, contributing more than 2,400 hours of trail work to restore 30 trails and nearly 50 miles of access routes through debris removal, drainage repairs, trash cleanup, and other maintenance. Trail Revival Project events currently planned for 2026 include: * March 21: Mark Twain National Forest, Missouri * March 21: Tonto National Forest, Arizona * March 28: George Washington National Forest, Virginia * March 28: Ocala National Forest, Florida * April 1: San Bernardino National Forest, California * April 25: Mendocino National Forest, California * April 25: Coeur d'Alene National Forest, Idaho * June 6: Langlade County OHV Trails, Wisconsin (Rain Date June 11) * June 28: White River National Forest, Colorado * June 28: Salmon-Challis National Forest, Idaho * July 26-August 8: Pioneer Trail, Carson National Forest, New Mexico * August 8: Arapeen OHV Trail System, Utah Additional projects will be announced in the coming months. "Access without stewardship is simply not sustainable," said Griffen Gilbert, onX Offroad Community Marketing Manager. "Trails don't maintain themselves. The Trail Revival Project supports the land management agencies, local clubs, and volunteers who do the work to keep these routes open for future generations." "Toyota Trucks are designed for adventure seekers, and with that passion comes a responsibility to help preserve the places where those adventures happen," said Mike Tripp, Group Vice President of Toyota Marketing. "Building on the positive impact we made in 2025, we're excited to continue supporting the Trail Revival Project and the dedicated volunteers working to keep trails open for the community." Continental Divide Trail Coalition
Mar 23rd, 2026
New film: labor of Love.

New film: labor of Love. Inside the work to complete and protect the CDT. Stretching 3,100 miles from Mexico to Canada, the Continental Divide Trail connects communities, ecosystems, and cultures across the American West. The Continental Divide Trail Coalition works year-round to maintain, protect, and complete the CDT for future generations - and that work doesn't happen on its own. Continental Divide Trail Coalition is excited to share a new film, released by its partners at onX and "Labor of Love" captures a volunteer stewardship weekend near Silver City, New Mexico - one of four trail improvement projects funded this year by the onX Adventure Forever Grant in partnership with Toyota. The film follows CDTC crews as they build switchbacks into rocky ridgelines, clear blowdown with crosscut saws, and convert dangerous highway roadwalks into protected singletrack. Trail stewardship is physical, skilled, essential work. On these projects, crews improved 2.5 miles of Continental Divide Trail across four sites stretching from North Fork, Idaho to Silver City, New Mexico. The work included building sustainable singletrack, removing deteriorated water bars, installing wayfinding signage, and clearing downed timber - the unglamorous, critical maintenance that keeps the CDT open and safe for the thousands of hikers, equestrians, and community members who use it each year. What they're saying. "Stewardship is strongest when it's shared - when volunteers come together with a deep love of the land and a commitment to leave it better than they found it. I am always amazed by how that spirit comes alive through every mile cared for and every hand that helps." Teresa Martinez Executive Director, CDTC "Rarely are the efforts of building trails so closely captured as in this piece. It's a ton of work and i'm just really psyched to see this film bring to life a tiny drop in the bucket of what it is that land managers, the agency, partners, volunteers, stewards of all kinds make happen everyday." Michael McDaniel Technical Field Specialist, CDTC
