Core Responsibilities:
In partnership with the the Brand and Social Media team, conceptualize and design social-first videos for use across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Linked In etc. and emerging platforms on a daily basis
Edit and cut the videos, apply and manipulate the audio: soundtracks and voiceover
Create animations and motion graphics; as standalone video pieces, and/or as part of real action videos
Maintain and strengthen our brand voice and tone and branding through social video creation
Stay on top of cultural & social video design trends to pitch relevant ways to bring our content to life
Be experimental with content, take risks, be ambitious and original
Be a self starter who will help build every facet of our creative department’s video capabilities from media management to finishing
Develop a library of evergreen social videos and video templates for YouTube that can be reused, periodically updated and potentially scaled across the company
Establish repeatable processes, templates and best practices for weekly repeatable video formats
Create and maintain an organized shared database for all social assets to live
Skills and Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of video editing experience, candidates must attach portfolio with application
Demonstrated ability to think innovatively - connecting the dots when others cannot. Able to make the leap from information to insight to creative execution.
Able to identify, nurture and refine compelling creative ideas and concepts, with a strong connection to the core strategy
Deep knowledge of social platforms and the ability to craft engaging stories.
Proven track record of creating content that gets shared and talked about.
A storyteller and an innovative communicator who’s resourceful, and eager to try new things
High tolerance for change, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must have excellent time management skills and be able to multitask to complete tasks at high volume
Ability to work with international partners in different time zones (social team sits across east and west coast of the US and the UK)
Strong understanding of Slack, Google Suite (including drive), Frame.io, and related workflows, importing and exporting
Expert skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Figma, and other relevant software.
Can color, mix, and master final videos for delivery
Can great base level graphics packages for videos
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; ability to communicate in a proactive & concise manner as work is done mostly over slack
understanding of marketing and social media analytics.
Bonus points:
experience working in a cross-functional marketing team in the B2B SaaS space; bonus points at a hyper growth startup, HRTech or FinTech industries
successfully worked in a fully remote & globally distributed team
