- A bachelor's degree is required.
- At least 3–5 years of occupational safety experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience developing and implementing safety programs is required.
- Working knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 and other OSHA and safety regulations, including state- or region-specific requirements, is required.
- The role requires facility inspection, site assessment, employee training, safety committee facilitation, industrial hygiene surveying and air/noise testing, regulatory research, and environmental compliance support.
- The role requires frequent client travel, including local commuting, out-of-region travel, and an average of approximately 6–8 overnight stays per month.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and provide technical and regulatory health, safety, and environmental compliance support.
- Conduct facility inspections, site assessments, compliance audits, and routine walkthroughs to identify areas of concern.
- Develop site-specific safety programs and write, edit, and maintain OSHA-compliant programs for clients through the EHS Gateway platform.
- Conduct employee safety and environmental training and facilitate safety committee and emergency response team meetings.
- Prepare agendas and follow-up reports for client contacts before and after each visit.
- Perform industrial hygiene surveys and conduct air and noise testing.
- Manage daily activities and tasks through MS Dynamics and PSA.
- Research regulations and apply them to industrial equipment and operations.
- Perform applicability assessments and data collection with the Environmental Division.
- Develop lockout/tagout procedures and Job Hazard Assessments and conduct Department of Transportation and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act seminars.
- Provide on-site visits to assigned clients and complete special projects as assigned.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are highly valued but not required.
