Requirements
- At least five years of experience in a systems administrator role in an AIX environment.
- At least three years of experience administering a high-performance cluster and three years implementing system virtualization.
- Experience installing and configuring AIX 5.x and AIX 6.x, Power4, Power5, Power6, AIX HACMP, and AIX VIOS, including LPAR, DLPAR, and VPAR.
- Experience with performance tuning and capacity management across the specified AIX platforms.
- Experience architecting and designing IBM server infrastructure.
- Proficiency with UNIX and Linux variants, including AIX, Red Hat, CentOS, and Solaris.
- Understanding of shell scripting, Perl, C, C++, Apache, Samba, Kerberos, IPMI, SVN, Python, DNS, and Active Directory integration.
- Experience managing a large Unix infrastructure.
- Experience with service monitoring and service-level agreement management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Verbal, written, listening, and analytical skills.
