Requirements
  • Enrollment in accredited university in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required. Preferably – Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Environmental.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Power BI, Microsoft Power Point (or equivalent software applications)
  • Good presentation skills preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Support analyses and build business cases for project evaluation and design.
  • Work cross-functionally, specifically with Operations, Engineering, and Commercial teams, as necessary to support the program.
  • Help to analyze usage information to determine sources and methods of controlling greenhouse gas emissions and reducing water and energy consumption.
  • Track and assess projects impacting sustainability throughout the company.
  • Explore emerging technologies and research alternative funding sources to promote sustainability in projects.
  • Support timely collection of and maintain accurate data on energy, greenhouse gas emissions, water, and waste performance.
  • Prepare sustainability reporting content aligned with reporting standards, various platforms and customer-specific initiatives.
  • Manage and enhance systems and processes for monitoring performance through use of utility management systems for tracking and reporting purposes.
