Requirements
  • Pursuing a career in marketing, advertising, events, media, or related field
  • Inherent desire to learn more about production and experiential execution
  • Experience in events/experiential a plus (this can be classwork, internships, volunteer work or jobs)
  • Strong organization, interpersonal and project management skills
  • Experience working with Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets)
  • Experience with file management and project management platforms preferred
  • Open to travel and weekend work as necessary, as most of our activations happen outside of regular office hours
Responsibilities
  • Support the completion of team projects by assisting the lead Producer(s) on tasks such as: Researching, sourcing, and securing venues and vendors, event staff, catering, etc.
  • Sourcing and purchasing of anything from props to furniture to supplies
  • Aid in the creation of production schedules and project trackers
  • Help maintain budget detail and track receipts
  • Contributing to decks for Venues, Brand Ambassadors, Production Planning, and Health & Safety
  • Provide administrative support to Experiential Production teams, including but not limited to: Help coordinating vendor agreements and contracts
  • Creating POs, tracking and processing vendor payments
  • Organizing and maintaining the experiential storage unit
  • Maintaining master lists/trackers (venues, vendors, etc)
  • Support teams on job reconciliations at the close of projects

Wpromote Acquires Giant Spoon Agency

Wpromote has acquired Giant Spoon, creating a 700+ person agency combining strategy, creative, tech, media, and performance marketing. The new entity, Wpromote x Giant Spoon, will be led by Wpromote CEO Andrea Bendzick, with Giant Spoon's co-founders joining the executive team. Giant Spoon Receives Second ADWEEK Experiential Awards Shortlist for Walmart The Shoutout Giant Spoon agency won two shortlist nods from the ADWEEK Experiential Awards this week, including Monica Herman for 'Experiential Executive of the Year' and Walmart The Shoutout receiving a shortlist in 'Experiential Activation by Retail Brand.' The two shorlist nods are related as Herman led efforts on The shoutout, which was Winner of the Ex Award for Best Multicultural Experience. "The Shoutout" invited festival attendees nationwide to "become megaphones for the Black creators they love." Herman's expertise was notable this year in multple experiential activations.
