  • Metadata Management: Understanding of metadata concepts and experience with data cataloging.
  • Data Governance Tools: Familiarity with platforms for MDM/RDM, data quality, and governance workflows.
  • Business Analysis: Ability to understand business requirements and translate that knowledge into metadata for Data Governance Tools and Data Management Initiatives

Responsibilities
  • Partner with project teams to ensure alignment with Arch’s Data Governance and Data Management framework.
  • Provide guidance on data standards, policies, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review project deliverables for compliance with governance requirements.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of data governance processes across business units.
  • Help embed governance practices into daily operations and project workflows.
  • Maintain documentation of governance procedures and data standards.
  • Assist in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of: Data Catalog Platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation) Master Data Management (MDM) / Reference Data Management (RDM) Platforms Data Quality Platforms
  • Monitor platform usage and performance and support user onboarding and training.
  • Collaborate with data stewards and owners to capture and maintain metadata.
  • Ensure metadata is accurate, complete, and accessible via the data catalog.
  • Support metadata enrichment and classification efforts.
  • Conduct data analysis and business analysis to support reference data harmonization.
  • Identify inconsistencies and gaps in reference data across systems.
  • Work with stakeholders to define and implement standard reference data values.
  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand data needs and challenges.
  • Facilitate communication between data governance, IT, and business teams.
  • Promote awareness and adoption of governance tools and practices.
