Requirements
  • BS+ in aerospace, electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering
  • 1-4 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in software and hardware testing, preferably flight test experience
  • Experience in hardware troubleshooting, especially of electrical systems
  • Solid foundation in dynamics and controls
  • Proficient with Python and Git version control
  • Self-starter
  • Must be capable of lifting and transporting up to 50 pounds
  • Capable of sitting or standing for long periods of time
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, improve, and verify different test environments for subscale model testing of the flight control system
  • Conduct hardware and software tests, analyze the data, and document testing outcomes
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software system parts of test environments
  • Integrate software/firmware changes
  • Analyze airship flight test data and support flight test activities
  • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions and define clear goals for testing
