Requirements
  • A two-year Civil Engineering Technician diploma, Construction Management Technician diploma, and/or a Civil Engineering degree, or a relevant amount of education and experience.
  • Experience supervising manufacturing, industrial, construction, or precast concrete operations.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Relevant safety experience in an industrial or unionized environment, ideally within the construction industry.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs.
  • Effective communication with all levels of management.
  • A detail-oriented focus with strong analytical expertise.
  • The ability to achieve and maintain safety, quality, and accuracy results.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities within the precast concrete plant.
  • Be responsible for production output and product quality, including daily production reviews with the Plant Superintendent and other relevant departments.
  • Allocate, lead, train, coach, and support production employees.
  • Enforce company safety policies, conduct toolbox talks, and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve performance.
  • Work closely with Quality Control personnel to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
  • Manage employee attendance and assist with scheduling and overtime requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
