Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • Profound knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices
  • Experience with project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and permitting processes
  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices and OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification preferred
  • History of continual professional learning, growth, and development
Responsibilities
  • Lead, coordinate, and manage all phases of assigned construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety protocols
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, designers, engineers, trade partners, and internal teams to ensure effective communication, project alignment, and successful execution
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and milestones
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, review financial reports, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure financial goals are met
  • Identify potential risks and issues in projects, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address challenges to ensure project success
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications
  • Lead project meetings, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and maintain proactive and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Foster a culture of safety by promoting and enforcing safety policies and procedures on construction sites
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing best practices across projects
  • Mentor and develop project team members, providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for growth
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, retain current repeat clients, and identify and nurture prospective clients
