Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At-scale Professional Services experience.
  • 10+ years proven experience in a leadership role overseeing project management functions within the IT services industry, with a focus on enterprise customers.
  • Experience with off-shore/near-shore mixed-delivery teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
  • Enterprise tooling knowledge is required, as well as design and architecture capabilities.
  • Demonstrated analytical competency, detail-oriented, collaborative, and an agent of change.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive business growth, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across multiple time zones.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and collaborate outside of direct reporting lines will be critical.
  • In-depth understanding of corporate KPIs and factors influencing these KPIs.
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the project management practice.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of project managers to deliver exceptional results and drive continuous improvement in project management practices.
  • Identify and implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize project management efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, account management, and delivery teams to understand customer needs and expectations and develop tailored project management solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Drive business growth through effective project management practices, ensuring profitable project delivery and maximizing customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Standardize management and measurement practices and internal reporting of delivery-related Key Performance Indicators in order to achieve optimal levels of management oversight and accountability.
  • Develop a plan to use time and situational appropriate AI to improve delivery performance.
  • Improve and assist in designing appropriate resource management processes and systems.
  • Create and manage Project Management department budget, as well as work with IT to develop the tooling and support budget for the business.
  • Assist in streamlining and improving department forecasting processes and accuracy.
