  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in landscape architecture and urban planning, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp.
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of complex urban planning and/or landscape architecture projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, surveyors, utility coordinators, etc., to develop comprehensive design solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop innovative design concepts and detailed plans for various projects, including parks, streetscapes, and urban developments.
  • Review and approve project documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Professional Certification through American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP)
  • Possession of a valid license as a Registered Landscape Architect
  • A self-starter with a passion for innovative design and a desire to create impactful solutions across various project scales.
  • Experience in developing public outreach materials and facilitating community engagement processes, including public workshops and design charrettes.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and a commitment to integrating environmentally responsible solutions into projects.
