Summary:
This role operates across the U.S. and Canada, reporting directly to the SVP of Service Business Development. The position is responsible for evaluating business opportunities to optimize service and solution offerings by understanding target markets, trends, technology, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Leveraging business acumen, technical expertise, and industry experience, this role formulates strategies and identifies new business opportunities, including managing service agreements and outsourcing solutions to expand our market presence and deliver revenue growth. The position works with the SVP and other functional teams to define and establish programs, strategies, and tactics for selling the company’s services and solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain current client relationships and identifying areas for potential clients
Assess customer needs and develop detailed solution specifications.
Manage and grow the customer pipeline to meet assigned quotas.
Expand service and solution revenue within existing customer accounts by acting as the primary advocate and point of contact.
Build strong relationships with customers to understand their business, strategy, and opportunities.
Identify and establish relationships with potential new OEM/MVS or corporate customers.
Serve as a business consultant to customers, analyzing their strategic plans and offering custom solutions aligned with their objectives.
Achieve annual revenue quotas by working with the Service Business Development team and Regional Service Management to align solutions with customer goals and company direction.
Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating quotes and contract requirements with the Sales Support Team and Service Management, recommending pricing changes or special considerations as needed.
Address and resolve customer complaints.
Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business
Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, with 5+ years of sales/service business development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in Technical Service, Outsourcing, and emerging markets preferred.
Established relationships in medical, pharmaceutical, robotics, parcel/packaging and automation markets a plus.
Experience managing major accounts preferred.
Salesforce.com (SFDC) experience strongly preferred.
Travel:
This position requires 40-50% travel within the U.S. and Canada.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (75% of the time).
Ability to type and operate office equipment.
Ability to move within the office to access files and office machinery.
Close vision required for computer work and reviewing documents.
Work performed in a controlled office and manufacturing environment with acceptable noise and dust levels.
