Requirements
  • At least 5 years of commercial and residential plumbing experience.
  • A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass a Department of Transportation drug screen, medical certification, physical examination, and road examinations.
  • Ability to work in a drug-free workplace and meet the physical demands evaluation.
  • Availability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
  • Compliance with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Ability to understand written, oral, and diagrammed instructions; read and interpret company policies, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps, and road signs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Ability to work independently, manage pressure to meet deadlines, perform basic mathematical functions, and use email and the internet.
  • Ability to recognize hazards in routine and non-routine tasks, adjust work methods to avoid injury or accidents, and use job-appropriate personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing problems for residential and commercial customers.
  • Perform plumbing service and maintenance work.
  • Handle residential and commercial plumbing repairs.
  • Communicate with customers about plumbing problems and solutions.
  • Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls.
  • Prepare service vehicles, tools, and materials for jobs.
  • Complete service reports and job documentation.
  • Follow safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment.
