Program Manager - Biopharma partnerships

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Owning project management responsibilities and day-to-day logistics for biopharma client partnership programs
Managing clinical trial recruitment workflow utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Identifying and coordinating appropriate internal resources across commercial, clinical and scientific, and lab operations teams at GeneDx to support effective program execution
Coordinating with GeneDx’s development team to translate client requests into development activities
Managing data reporting processes and execution
Deepening client relationships with senior members of partner organizations, including pharmaceutical, biotech and patient advocacy groups
Building the procedures and infrastructure to support scalable growth of biopharma and other partner programs
Identifying unmet needs among existing partners and generating ideas for product development priorities

EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTERISTICS

7+ years of experience in relevant program management roles in biotech/biopharma industry
Strong customer-focused orientation and exceptional judgement to ensure diverse client needs are addressed amidst an unstructured environment
Willing to design and build scalable processes and infrastructure to support the program management team
Experience developing project management standard operating procedures and best practices to ensure consistency across the team
Eagerness to engage with internal and client teams regarding the scientific, medical, commercial and technological aspects of genetics
Has leadership and experience identifying operational efficiencies to streamline workflows across functional units
Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, reporting, and identifying the “so what” behind the data
Experience manipulating data in Excel and/or Tableau and an aptitude for learning new software tools
Curiosity for working on a diverse set of partner and program types
Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
Highly motivated individual with an ability to thrive in an unstructured, dynamic environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Fantastic team member with a willingness to identify and assume roles that drive the company’s success
Domain knowledge in clinical genetics/genomics is a plus

Pay Transparency, Budgeted Range

$128,000—$140,000 USD

High-quality testing: Our laboratory is CLIA certified and CAP accredited and most of our tests are also New York State approved.
Advanced detection: By interrogating genes for complex variants, we can identify the underlying causes of conditions that may otherwise be missed.

CLINICAL EXPERTISE

Thorough analysis: We classify variants according to our custom adaptation of the most recent guidelines. We then leverage our rich internal database for additional interpretation evidence.
Customized care: Our experts review all test results and write reports in a clear, concise, and personalized way. We also include information for research studies in specific clinical situations.
Impactful discovery: Our researchers continue working to find answers even after testing is complete. Through both internal research efforts and global collaborations, we have identified and published hundreds of new disease-gene relationships and developed novel tools for genomic data analysis. These efforts ultimately deliver more diagnostic findings to individuals.
