Requirements
  • Current registration as a healthcare professional.
  • Significant clinical experience in urgent, primary, community or integrated care.
  • Experience delivering education, training or competency assessment.
  • Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • A sound understanding of clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships across clinical and non-clinical teams.
  • A proactive, supportive and improvement-focused approach to workforce development.
Responsibilities
  • Design, deliver and evaluate clinical skills training programmes aligned to service requirements and organisational priorities.
  • Facilitate and assess clinical competencies across a range of practitioner groups.
  • Deliver Basic Life Support training, including adult, child, neonatal and paediatric Basic Life Support.
  • Provide education on choking management, RESPECT documentation, DNAR processes, end-of-life care and prescribing principles.
  • Deliver practical clinical skills training, including venepuncture, catheterisation, ECG acquisition and interpretation, T34 syringe pump management and venous access devices.
  • Facilitate pathology and diagnostic education sessions.
  • Lead case-based learning, reflective practice sessions and clinical reasoning discussions.
  • Support induction, onboarding and capability development of new clinical staff.
  • Develop training resources, educational materials and competency frameworks.
  • Maintain and oversee clinical skills equipment, training resources, clinical skills boxes and equipment inventories.
  • Support the implementation of new equipment training and associated competency assessments.
  • Promote collaborative working across clinical, operational and governance teams.
  • Contribute to education-led quality improvement, clinical governance and service improvement initiatives.

  • A formal teaching or education qualification.
  • Experience developing competency frameworks or educational programmes.
  • Experience supporting service improvement or workforce development projects.
  • Experience managing clinical equipment and training resources.

Vitality adds HealthHero as GP services partner. Integrated pathway set for later this year. Provider, Vitality, has expanded its virtual GP service offering through a partnership with HealthHero. Initially, the HealthHero GP Service will be provided to new personal and small-to-medium-sized enterprise (SME) private health insurance members, as well as those who have not used Vitality's existing virtual GP service in the last 12 months.
